THE WHITE LOTUS S1-3 | Monday nights
The White Lotus is currently at No. 1 on IMDb’s Most Popular TV chart, with Season 3 its best reviewed yet, according to Rotten Tomatoes, where it has a 96% approval rating from critics.
After 15 Emmys for the first two, the third instalment follows a new group of guests at a White Lotus hotel, this time in Thailand, where another dead body turns up.
Once again written and directed by Mike White, the new season returns Natasha Rothwell to her Emmy-nominated Season 1 role as Belinda alongside a star-studded new cast. This includes Emmy nominees Carrie Coon, Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, and Walton Goggins, BAFTA winner Aimee Lou Wood, Teen Choice nominees Leslie Bibb and Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Critics Choice nominee Michelle Monaghan.
Writing for RogerEbert.com, Brian Tallerico hails S3 as “my favourite season yet”, calls White “arguably without peer on TV right now”, and says it “will likely be the most visually striking drama you watch this year” – with “one of the most gorgeous settings in the history of television.”

GANGS OF LONDON S3 | First on Showmax | Binge from Tuesday, March 25
The Emmy-nominated and BAFTA-winning series Gangs of London returns for its third season as chaos erupts in London after a spiked shipment of cocaine kills hundreds. In the ruthless fight for control of London’s criminal underworld, no one is safe. This was no accident — it was a calculated attack. But who’s pulling the strings?
Returning cast includes Critics Choice Super nominee Sopẹ́ Dìrísù, BAFTA nominees Joe Cole and Lucian Msamati, and Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark in Game of Thrones).
Irish Film and Television Award winner Richard Dormer (Blue Lights, Game of Thrones) joins the cast this season alongside Critics Choice Super nominees Andrew Koji (Warrior) and T’Nia Miller (Fall of the House of Usher).
Gangs of London holds an 86% critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8/10 score on IMDb, with NME calling the show, “Game of Thrones but without the dragons.”

THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES S4 | First on Showmax | Mondays from March 24
The Righteous Gemstones follows a world-famous but highly dysfunctional televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work.
Series creator and star Danny McBride (Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals) has confirmed this will be the fourth and final season. “The Lord spoke to me and said it’s time to wrap this sucker up,” says McBride. “The story this season made the themes, ideas, and characters in The Righteous Gemstones feel whole and complete. I have loved every second of working with this team for the past eight years, and there are some incredible payoffs, twists, and turns in store over the course of this wild final season.”
Returning cast includes Emmy nominee Walton Goggins (The White Lotus), Edi Patterson (Knives Out), Teen Choice winner Adam Devine (Pitch Perfect), and Golden Globe winner John Goodman (The Big Lebowski, Roseanne).
With four Emmy nominations, an 8.1 score on IMDb, and an 88% critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes, The Righteous Gemstones is one of Variety’s “most anticipated” shows of 2025. IndieWire describes it as a show with “the ideas, characters, and production values to match the outsized egos strutting through its story.”

YELLOWJACKETS S1-3 | First on Showmax | Saturdays
“Once upon a time, a bunch of teenage girls got stranded in the wilderness… and they went completely nuts.”
The third season of the Emmy-nominated series continues to explore the harrowing survival story of the high school women’s soccer team that crashed in the wilderness in 1996 – as well as the present day story of the survivors, who keep being forced to uncover secrets they thought were buried for good.
Two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank (Million Dollar Baby) and Critics’ Choice nominee Joel McHale (Community) join the cast this season, which also includes Melanie Lynskey and Christina Ricci in Emmy-nominated roles.
Yellowjackets S1 was the second-most streamed series in Showtime’s history but the S3 premiere was its most streamed episode yet – 58% up on the S2 premiere. It also generated the most social interactions of any episode so far.
Yellowjackets is #7 on IMDb’s Most Popular TV chart right now and has an 85% critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes for the latest instalment, with Inverse saying,“Season 3 proves Yellowjackets will go down in history as something special.”

THE FAMOUS FIVE S1 | Binge from Friday, March 21
Nominated as Best Live-Action Series at the 2025 Kidscreen Awards, The Famous Five is based on Enid Blyton’s iconic children’s stories.
Created and executive produced by BAFTA nominee Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive), The Famous Five follows Julian, Dick, Anne, George, and their loyal dog, Timmy, as the daring young explorers encounter treacherous, action-packed adventures, remarkable mysteries, unparalleled danger and astounding secrets.
As The Spectator says, “The Famous Five is that very rare and special thing: a TV show that both children and adults can thoroughly enjoy.”

SUITS LA S1 | Mondays
NBC’s Suits was the most streamed series in the world in 2023, so it’s no surprise we’re now getting a spinoff from the original series creator, Aaron Korsh, or that it’s in the top 10 on IMDb’s Most Anticipated New TV list for 2025.
Teen Choice winner Stephen Amell (Arrow) stars in Suits LA as Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York who has reinvented himself as an entertainment lawyer in Hollywood.
Guest stars include Gabriel Macht as original Suits favourite Harvey Specter, as well as a host of celebs playing themselves, including Emmy winner Patton Oswalt, Maggie Grace (The Walking Dead) and Brian Baumgartner (The Office).
Calling Suits LA “appointment viewing”, Collider says the spinoff “raises the bar against a Hollywood backdrop” by “expanding on what made the original series great while setting itself apart.”
Showmax is also home to all nine seasons of the original Suits.

PARTY DOWN S1-3 | Binge from Friday, March 7
Party Down follows the struggling actors and dysfunctional dreamers serving hors d’oeuvres for a Hollywood catering company while they wait for their big break.
Co-created by Paul Rudd, Party Down’s stacked cast includes Emmy nominees Adam Scott (Severance), Ken Marino, Lizzy Caplan and Jennifer Garner, as well as Emmy winners Megan Mullally and Jane Lynch. Also look out for guest appearances from the likes of Jennifer Coolidge, JK Simmons, Kevin Hart, Kristen Bell, Nick Offerman and more.
“Returning after a long layoff, Party Down brings patient fans a third season that’s every bit as sharp – and laugh-out-loud funny – as its predecessors,” says Rotten Tomatoes, where Season 3 has a 95% critics’ rating.

THE DAY OF THE JACKAL S1 | Mondays until the 17 March finale
Nominated as Best Drama Series at both the 2025 Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards, The Day of the Jackal follows a ruthless, mysterious assassin known as the Jackal, who makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee. He meets his match when a tenacious British intelligence officer starts to track him down in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe.
Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything, Fantastic Beasts franchise) has earned Golden Globe, Critics Choice and Screen Actors Guild nominations for his shape-shifting performance as The Jackal.
BAFTA winner Lashana Lynch (The Woman King, No Time to Die) plays Bianca, the British intelligence officer hot on his heels.
Written and adapted by Ronan Bennet (Top Boy), The Day of The Jackal is both the biggest Sky Original ever and Peacock’s most-watched new original drama series ever, after 75 days of viewership. The thriller has an 86% critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Variety calls it “exhilarating… a breathless adventure until the very end.”
The Day of the Jackal is a modern-day reimagination of Frederick Forsyth’s classic novel, which earned the 1972 Edgar Award for Best Novel from the Mystery Writers of America.

A VERY ROYAL SCANDAL | Binge from Thursday, 6 March
Based on real events, A Very Royal Scandal tells the story of Prince Andrew’s infamous 2019 Newsnight interview with journalist Emily Maitlis. The series dives into the days leading up to the explosive encounter, the fallout from the interview, and its lasting impact on the monarchy. It captures the high-stakes tension surrounding a royal attempt at damage control that went catastrophically wrong, leaving audiences questioning power, privilege, and accountability.
The three-part series stars Emmy nominee Michael Sheen (The Queen) as Prince Andrew, Golden Globe winner Ruth Wilson (The Affair) as Emily Maitlis, and BAFTA winner Joanna Scanlan (Slow Horses) as Amanda Thirsk, the prince’s private secretary.

BRILLIANT MINDS | Binge from Monday, March 24
In Brilliant Minds, Emmy nominee Zachary Quinto (Spock in Star Trek, Sylar in Heroes) stars as Dr Oliver Wolf, an eccentric but gifted neurologist who suffers from a rare condition that gives him a unique perspective on care, fuelling his mission to change the way the world sees his patients.
Inspired by the books The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and An Anthropologist on Mars by neurologist Oliver Sacks, Brilliant Minds is created by Peabody winner Michael Grassi (Schitt’s Creek, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, Riverdale).

The Following Events are Based on a Pack of Lies tells the story of two very different women and the conman they have in common.
The five-part comedic thriller stars Oscar nominee Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Hard Truths, Secrets & Lies), Alistair Petrie (Sex Education, Rogue One) and Rebekah Staton (Raised by Wolves, The Midwich Cuckoos) as Cheryl, Rob and Alice respectively.
The Guardian’s 4/5-star review calls the series “a joyfully fun takedown of a scammer ex-husband… a total thrill… whimsical and satisfying to the end.”

THE GOLDEN BOY: OSCAR DE LA HOYA | First on Showmax | Binge from Wednesday, 26 March
Boasting a 100% critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the two-part HBO documentary The Golden Boy offers a candid portrait of legendary boxer Oscar De La Hoya.
Nicknamed “The Golden Boy”, De La Hoya fought his way from the tough streets of East LA to an Olympic gold medal by age 19. He won 10 world titles across six different weight classes, rocketing to global prominence both in and outside the ring with his good looks, electric charisma, and heartfelt story of winning Olympic gold for his dying mother. But behind the polished facade, all was not as it seemed.
In The Golden Boy, De La Hoyapeels back the layers to reveal a man struggling to come to terms with lifelong demons and the impossible burden of a nickname he couldn’t live up to.
Nominated for Best Documentary at the 2024 Imagen Awards, The Golden Boy is directed by Sundance Audience Award winner Fernando Villena and executive produced by Oscar nominee Mark Wahlberg and Emmy winner Mario Lopez.

MR ROBOT S1-4 | Binge from Monday, March 10
Winner of the 2016 Golden Globe for Best Drama Series, Mr Robot follows Elliot, a brilliant but highly unstable young cyber-security engineer and hacker who is drawn into a complex game of global dominance by vigilante anarchists working to bring down the financial system.
As Elliott, Rami Malek won an Emmy, while Christian Slater was nominated for two Golden Globes as Mr Robot.
The cult show still holds a 94% overall critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes. In its roundup of “21 TV Shows that explained the 2010s”, Vox called it, “One of the decade’s wildest rides” and “one of the most prescient shows to emerge,” while Variety listed it among the ‘Best 25 TV Shows of the Decade’, calling it “a show that perfectly suited its era.”
DAWSON’S CREEK S1-6 | Binge from today
Dawson’s Creek follows the lives, loves, and heartbreaks of four teenagers: Dawson, an aspiring filmmaker; his lifelong best friend, Joey; their rebellious friend Pacey; and city girl Jen, who shakes up their small-town world.
Created by Kevin Williamson (Scream), the show launched multi-award-winning careers for James van Der Beek, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams, who has gone on to earn five Oscar nominations. Even decades after its 1998 debut, fans are still debating whether Joey should have ended up with Dawson or Pacey.
Collider named Dawson’s Creek one of its 10 Most Rewatchable Teen Dramas, saying: “From the show’s idea of finding your platonic soulmate in your best friend, to the awakening that the first person you date may not actually be the person you end up with, a rewatch of Dawson’s Creek is a must.”

FRASIER S1-11 | Binge from today
Premiering in 1993 as a spin-off of the iconic NBC sitcom Cheers, Frasier continues the story of the witty but pretentious psychiatrist Frasier Crane (Emmy winner Kelsey Grammer).
After dealing with a divorce, Frasier leaves Boston for his hometown of Seattle to get a new lease of life and begin a career as a radio talk show host. While he is always ready and willing to provide wisdom to his talk show callers, he often finds it hilariously impossible to deal with his own obstacles.
The Daily Mail hails Frasier as “one of the funniest, cleverest, most perfectly drawn and hilariously scripted television shows of all time.” The sitcom earned 107 Emmy nominations, winning 37, a record it held until 2016 when Game of Thrones won 38.
In 2023, Frasier returned in a reboot of the same name, with Grammer reprising his role as Dr Frasier Crane.
