Boda Love premieres in Nairobi

On Friday, September 20th, Boda Love, the highly anticipated romantic comedy from Jabali Film, premiered to an enthusiastic audience at Anga Cinema Diamond Plaza. Directed by Janet Wells, Boda Love tells the compelling story of a British woman who falls for an internet romance scam in Kenya and is rescued by her humble boda boda driver. 

Sparks begin to fly, expectations are upended and love blossoms after she moves into his home in Kaloleni with his large, loving, slightly crazy family and a love story unfolds.

With Murunyu Duncan Mungai bringing depth and heart to his leading man role. It also stars Justin Mirichii (Shimoni) and Muthoni Gathecha (Mo) who deliver a beautiful performance.

The film features a talented ensemble cast that brings life to the touching story. Murunyu Duncan Mungai shines in the role of the boda boda driver, delivering a heartfelt performance that captures the essence of his character.

The perfomances are further enhanced by stunning cinematography and music from Kenya’s leading artists, including Billy Black, Charisma, Tetu Shani, Njoki Karu, Boda Love delivers a romantic, light-hearted film filled with emotional highs and lows that will leave you laughing and crying in equal measure.
