Call for applications: Baraza Media Lab Data Storytelling Fellowship

Baraza Media Lab in Kenya, through the MOVE Africa project by the African Union and in partnership with GIZ, has launched the third cycle of the Data Storytelling Fellowship, with an expanded focus on cross-platform storytelling and impactful engagement.

The programme equips storytellers with cutting-edge tools, mentorship, and resources to uncover and amplify migration stories that challenge stereotypes and spark meaningful conversations.

Who can apply?

Early-career journalists: Learn how to analyse data, craft impactful stories, and gain credibility in your newsroom and beyond.

Mid-career media professionals: Gain access to advanced tools and workshops to help you transform complex migration data into stories that shape public discourse.

Influencers and content creators: Collaborate with other storytellers, learn to balance advocacy with entertainment, and cement your role as a thought leader in the digital space.

The deadline for application is February 28, 2025.
