Call for applications: ProvidusBank SHETHRIVES Program in Nigeria

Providus Bank in Nigeria is calling on women entrepreneurs to apply for its ProvidusBank SHETHRIVES Program, an SME programme designed for women in business.

The programme, which is being implemented in partnership with the Enterprise Development Centre of Pan-Atlantic University and UN Women, is at aimed aim of empowering female entrepreneurs by “equipping them with the skills, resources, and connections needed to drive business growth and sustainability.”

“We are looking for 30 dynamic businesses to join this empowering journey of capacity-building training,” Providus Bank said. “This training offers essential funding opportunities such as one-on-one loan discussions, equity financing deal days with investors and venture capitalists, and access to discounted interest rates on loans.”

The Providus Bank SheThrives program is focused on “addressing critical areas of business management while offering tailored support and opportunities to advance their enterprises.”

Features of the program include:

  • Selected female entrepreneurs will be exposed to training that will help them to understand the comprehensive nature of business management areas such as marketing strategies, financial planning, and operational efficiency.
  • Participants will be opportune to gain personalized mentorship and expert guidance to help them overcome challenges and develop effective strategies for business growth.
  • It is an opportunity to gain access to new markets and professional connections aimed at helping participants explore limitless growth opportunities and build strategic partnerships.
  • Female entrepreneurs will be connected to funding opportunities through partnerships with top financial institutions and investors in order to ensure that they have the resources to scale their ventures.

Through this, the program aims to “foster an environment where female entrepreneurs can thrive, contributing to economic and societal growth development.”

To be considered eligible for the programme:

  • The applicant must be a female entrepreneur.
  • You must have a business model with a clear customer segment.
