EABL partners with Outlook Index to launch Bar on Wheels

Outlook Index Limited has partnered with East Africa Breweries Limited to launch the first-of-its-kind distributor-led initiative dubbed ‘Bar on Wheels’, an innovative and customer-centric concept that takes the party experience to a whole new level, aiming to bring convenience, sophistication and a premium beverage selection right to consumers’ doorsteps.

The Bar on Wheels is a mobile, fully equipped bar offering a curated selection of beverages, including premium spirits, signature cocktails, craft beers and non-alcoholic options. Designed to redefine how consumers celebrate life’s special moments, the initiative will allow consumers to order a package featuring a fully stocked bar with EABL brands, a mixologist, a speaker and brand ambassadors for those wishing to host events at home, corporate end-of-year parties and birthday celebrations, providing customers with a hassle-free solution for an exceptional hosting experience.

Speaking during the launch, Catherine Muchai, general manager of Outlook Index Limited, noted that Bar on Wheels was born from the need to enhance consumer convenience and comfort for hosting events wherever and whenever they choose.

“The Bar on Wheels is more than just a bar; it’s a statement of convenience that responds to changing consumer needs and trends, focusing on the ease of hosting events. It is expected to enhance the experience for consumers who order drinks in the comfort of their homes and offices, especially as we gear up for the festive season,” said Muchai.

“This distributor-led initiative underscores our commitment to innovation and customer engagement. Empowering distributors to spearhead this kind of initiative will ensure that we synchronise our efforts and approach to delivering unique experiences while creating new revenue streams for our partners. Our goal is to bring our products closer to our customers and provide a unique way for them to enjoy high-quality beverages as we wrap up the year and deliver unforgettable experiences,” said Joseph Kagigite, EABL head of sales, Nairobi.
