Gordon’s and Blankets & Wine deliver unforgettable ‘summer’ experience

On December 22, 2024, the world’s No. 1 international gin brand, Gordon’s, teamed up with Blankets & Wine festival to deliver an unforgettable ‘Kenyan summer edition’ this past weekend at the Laureate Gardens, Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani, Nairobi.

The much-anticipated event seamlessly combined music, food, fashion, and the vibrant spirit of celebration that Blankets & Wine is renowned for.

The star-studded lineup featured iconic performances by Nyashinski, the legendary Necessary Noize (who brought nostalgic vibes to the stage), Njerae, Watendawili, Coaster Ojwang and Xenia Manasseh. Meanwhile, the Onja Onja stage kept the energy high, with DJs such as DJ IV, DJ Ally Fresh, Akoth Jumadi, Shinsky, Dylan X, Vidza, and MGM spinning Afro House beats that got the crowd moving. Each act enhanced the laid-back, picnic-style atmosphere, creating unforgettable memories for all attendees.

Guests were treated to a one-of-a-kind Gordon’s Funfair experience, adding a special touch to the festivities. The event featured Gordon’s delicious cocktails from all four trademark flavours and the popular ready-to-drink Gordon’s & Tonic cans. The Gordon’s tent also featured fun activities, including a pool table, a punching bag competition, and a range of engaging games that kept the smiles and laughter flowing throughout the day.
