The Hub Karen rewards winners of Shop and Win campaign

The Hub Karen mall in Nairobi, Kenya, has announced the winners its Shop and Win Campaign, which ran from November 30, 2024, to January 19, 2025.

Lucy Chege has been announced as the grand prize winner and will enjoy a luxurious five-day family vacation in Mauritius with three companions.. The prize includes full-board accommodation, exclusive island tours and return flights.

Sharon Grace, who came in second, will enjoy a two-night getaway for two in Zanzibar, while the third winner, Kelly Wairimu Davis, received a shopping voucher worth KES150,000 to be spent at any of The Hub Karen’s outlets.

“We congratulate Lucy, Sharon, and Kelly on their win and thank them for their continued loyalty. We are grateful for their choice of The Hub Karen as their shopping destination. This campaign is a way to show our gratitude to all our customers for including us in their holiday season, and we look forward to creating even more memorable experiences for them in the future,” said The Hub Karen’s mall manager, Jacobus Visser, while presenting the prizes to the winners.

The campaign, held during the festive season, saw the three lucky shoppers win exciting prizes. To participate in the competition, customers simply had to make a minimum purchase of KES2,500 at any store within The Hub Karen, which led to thousands of entries.

The Shop and Win Competition is part of The Hub Karen’s ongoing efforts to create memorable shopping experiences for its customers, celebrating the holiday season and showing appreciation for their loyalty.

This commitment is further reflected in the recent additions to the tenant mix at the mall, with international skincare brand Natural Lamu and Mini Town Team, a retailer specializing in clothing and footwear for babies, toddlers, and teens, joining the growing list of international brands at The Hub Karen.

These stores add to the over 85 international brands available at the open-air mall, strengthening The Hub Karen’s position as a premier shopping destination in Nairobi. Jacobus Visser welcomed the new stores, noting that their arrival will enhance the retail experience for customers at the mall.

“We are optimistic that the presence of these new retailers will not only
boost our weekly foot traffic but will also broaden the range of high-end products that align with the aspirations of our diverse customer base,” he added.

The Hub Karen is Nairobi’s leading family entertainment and lifestyle destination mall, also housing the largest indoor family entertainment center in Kenya – The Hub Park.
