Students at St Patrick’s High School, Nairobi received a boost to their digital and academic learning following the donation of 30 laptops and renovation of their computer lab by Mars Wrigley Kenya.
The initiative is part of Mars Wrigley’s broader community engagement strategy aimed at bridging the digital divide and creating opportunities for students to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

“At Mars Wrigley, we believe in making a difference in the communities where we serve, and we recognise that access to digital tools and a conducive learning environment are essential,” said general manager for Sub-Sahara Africa at Mars Wrigley, Ismael Bello.
“Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, explore and develop their digital literacy and we are proud to partner with St. Patrick’s High School to create an environment where students can thrive,” added Bello.
In Kenya, Mars Wrigley continues to invest in initiatives that provide educational resources, with the aim of expanding schooling and learning opportunities.
“Your donation here today will have a lasting impact on our students. Access to technology is critical for learning, research, career preparation and so much more,” stated the principal of St. Patrick’s High School Nairobi, Ms. Prisca Ochieng, while accepting the donation.
“Your generous support will be instrumental in our efforts to achieve full digital literacy for our students,” concluded Ms. Ochieng.
The laptops will be integrated into the school’s newly renovated computer lab for immediate use, providing students with hands-on access to essential digital tools that will enhance both classroom and self-directed learning.
This partnership between Mars Wrigley Kenya and St. Patrick’s High School demonstrates how public-private collaboration can empower communities, promote education, and prepare students for success in the digital future.
