NCBA has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering tailored banking solutions in Kenya’s rapidly expanding metropolitan areas by opening its Tatu City Branch.

Situated within Kenya’s premier Special Economic Zone, Tatu City becomes the seventh NCBA branch in Kiambu County, following the successful launches of branches in Githunguri and Limuru in 2023.

Tatu City has emerged as a hub for industrial growth, boasting modern utilities, reliable power, and enhanced road infrastructure.

These developments have attracted manufacturing corporations, logistics firms, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), creating numerous job opportunities and driving economic growth in the region.

The NCBA Tatu City Branch, located in Eneo at Tatu Central, a state-of-the-art mixed-use retail and commercial office building, officially opened in November 2024. This expansion builds on the branch’s positive performance and underscores NCBA’s dedication to retail banking growth.

“As NCBA, we are committed to providing convenience and comfort for our customers. We aim to make banking services easily accessible and responsive to the unique needs of each community,” said acting group director of retail banking at NCBA, Mr Dennis Njau.

“Whether it’s a resident seeking personal financing, an employee needing a quick loan, or a business looking for asset financing or working capital. Our goal is to deliver convenience by eliminating the need for customers to travel to neighboring towns for banking services,” added Njau.

In alignment with Kenya’s Vision 2030, Tatu City has focused investments in manufacturing, real estate, and commerce, propelling the nation’s industrialization agenda.

NCBA has played a vital role in supporting these initiatives by offering financial solutions tailored to businesses. Many of these companies have partnered with NCBA to provide their employees with customized credit facilities.

Additionally, NCBA has collaborated with real estate developers in Tatu City to offer mortgage solutions designed to support the over 25,000 people living, working, and studying in the area.

By facilitating easier transactions for over 100 businesses, both operational and in development—the branch has improved accessibility for interbranch customers.

“We are thrilled to bring NCBA services closer to our Tatu City customers. The positive reception from the community reinforces our goal to enhance customer satisfaction by providing convenient and localized banking solutions,” stated Mr Tim Armitage, emphasising the importance of this expansion.
