Hollywood star Omari Hardwick, famed for his role in the hit TV series Power, is in  Kenya for a series of engagements, including the opening of a private member’s club, HQ Kenya House, in Tatu City, on Saturday March 15, 2025.

Speaking to media after his arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Hardwick expressed his excitement for exploring Kenya and experiencing the country’s creative and business environment.

“I’m looking to have a fun time and also spread my wings in terms of business opportunities and using my image to showcase what companies and businesses are doing,” said Hardwick.

On her part, Prudence Karimi, the PR and communications manager for Tatu City, welcomed Omari to Kenya, stating that his presence is a positive signal for the country’s creative and cultural spheres.

“We have very exciting activities for Omari. In addition to gracing the launch of HQ Kenya House, he will have the chance to interact with top creatives in Kenya, and witness everything that Tatu City has to offer,” said Ms Karimi.

“We’ve come to Kenya because we are very intentional about being the bridge between black Americans and the continent. The professionalism and ease of doing business is what brought us to Tatu City,” said managing partner at The Burns Brothers and co-founder of HQ House, John Burns.

HQ Kenya House is a sister establishment to HQ DC House in Washington DC, USA, under the ownership of the Burns Brothers, Mike and John. HQ House is built on the vision of redefining luxury while blending culture, community and curated experiences for members.
