Paymentology has announced the appointment of Kesheni Moodley as regional director for Africa, further strengthening its regional leadership as demand for modern, cloud-first issuing infrastructure accelerates across African markets.

Kesheni brings more than 20 years of experience across the ICT, payments, and enterprise technology sectors, spanning client relationship development, commercial leadership, business development, and operational transformation.

In her new role, she will focus on expanding Paymentology’s program management capabilities, deepening client relationships, and growing the company’s footprint across the continent.

“Kesheni brings an exceptional breadth of commercial and operational experience, combined with a deep understanding of the regional market,’ said chief revenue officer at Paymentology, Anna Porra.

“Her ability to balance growth, client value and operational excellence will be critical as we continue to support fintechs and banks across Africa in building resilient, scalable and locally relevant payment products,” added Porra.

Kesheni joins Paymentology from Ozow, where she most recently served as chief commercial officer, following several years as head of client success.

During her tenure, she played a central role in driving commercial strategy, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the growth of real-time payments adoption across South Africa.

Prior to Ozow, Kesheni held senior leadership roles at Accenture, where she spent nearly six years leading operations, consulting and transformation services, as well as sales leadership roles focused on large-scale enterprise clients.

Earlier in her career, she held client executive and business development roles at IBM and Siemens.

“Having spent much of my career working across Africa’s communications, technology and payments ecosystems, I’ve seen first-hand the impact digitization can have at scale,” said regional director for Africa at Paymentology, Kesheni Moodley.

“As mobile-first adoption accelerates and expectations for always-on, inclusive payment experiences grow, Paymentology enables issuers to scale with confidence. I’m excited to work closely with our clients and partners to support the next phase of growth across the continent,” she concluded.
