Kina co-stars Sanaipei Tande and Bruce Makau are set to reunite in the Maisha Magic Plus telenovela Lulu, joining Kalasha winner Brenda Wairimu (Zari) as part of the Oremo family, arriving to avenge the death of their fallen patriarch.

The death of Cleophas Oremo (Raymond Ofula, Crime & Justice) during a violent shootout with the Tindo family marked a turning point in the show’s power struggle, leaving his cunning daughter Bri (Brenda Wairimu) determined to continue his legacy.

Now, Cleophas’s widow Sonia Oremo (Sanaipei Tande) and his brother Diamond Oremo (Bruce Makau) enter the fray, bringing with them vengeance, seduction, and chaos.

Sanaipei Tande, one of Kenya’s most celebrated entertainers, brings unmatched depth and power to the show. Renowned for her chart-topping hits like Najuta and Mfalme wa Mapenzi to acclaimed screen performances, including her Kalasha Award-winning role in Kina.

Sanaipei remains one of Kenya’s most commanding performers on stage and the small screen.

“Joining Lulu at such a pivotal moment in the storyline is both challenging and exciting. Oremos are entering this world with purpose, grief, and fire. That emotional intensity requires honesty and depth, and I’m ready for it. Fans should expect disruption, the kind that shakes households and rewrites destinies,” said Sanaipei.

“Diamond is chaos charming one moment, lethal the next. Reuniting with Sanaipei on Lulu felt like coming full circle. We are bringing a fresh, fiery dynamic that fans won’t see coming,” stated Bruce Makau.

Sanaipei and Bruce join Brenda Wairimu, who has been making an impression as Bri Oremo by manipulating the Tindo brothers.

Brenda is one of Kenya’s most celebrated for her leading role in another A Jiffy Pictures hit, Zari, for which she won a Kalasha Award and received an OGW state commendation, cementing her status as one of Kenya’s most respected and versatile actresses.

“Working with Bruce and Sanaipei feels like a beautiful fusion of some of the strongest TV talent right now. It was also amazing reuniting with Rashid after our time on Zari,” said Brenda Wairimu.

As the Oremos rise to reclaim what was taken from them, the line between vengeance and survival blurs, threatening to tear apart not only their enemies, but their own families.

“Sanaipei brings a rare blend of elegance and danger, and Bruce has an instinctive understanding of complex, morally ambiguous characters,” said executive producer of Lulu, Rashid Abdalla.

“Pairing them with Brenda Wairimu elevates the entire narrative. What we are building in Lulu is a story about power, vengeance, legacy, and the consequences of ambition. And this cast is the perfect storm to deliver that to our audience with authenticity and force.”

Sanaipei debuts in the show on November 19, 2025 at 8:30 p.m. (EAT) exclusively on Maisha Magic Plus (DStv Channel 163 and GOtv Channel 3). New episodes will be screened every Monday to Friday, at the same time.
