Vertiv brings AI Innovation Roadshow to Nairobi

Vertiv has announced that its highly anticipated AI Solutions Innovation Roadshow will make its next stop, this time in Nairobi, Kenya on Thursday 17 July, 2025.

The Kenyan leg of the roadshow, scheduled to take place at Radisson Blu Hotel, is part of a global series of events designed to educate and equip customers and consultants with essential expertise for deploying high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure.

Vertiv experts will introduce the key infrastructure imperatives to enable AI, sharing insights on key challenges and opportunities and providing participants with a deep understanding of the latest innovations supporting HPC infrastructure, as well as the impact on data centre power and cooling systems. 

“This event series marks our dedication to actively support the needs of the data centre and AI markets across Africa. With the increased impact of AI and HPC on our industry, we are providing our customers and partners with insights and technology that can drive their success,” said managing director for Vertiv Africa, Wojtek Piorko.

“This latest AI Roadshow event in Nairobi will explore opportunities in Africa for the AI data centre landscape, redefine cooling for the AI era, and discuss how Kenyan enterprises are preparing for AI’s critical digital infrastructure demands and how to unlock the full value of AI across industries,” added Piorko.

The Vertiv AI Solutions Innovation Roadshow emphasises the essential aspects of adopting AI-compatible infrastructure and services to maintain operational excellence.

Discussions will explore power optimisation for AI workloads, alternative energy solutions, and readiness for liquid and hybrid cooling technologies. 

Vertiv speakers for the Nairobi event include Piorko; Luther Ogbaji, sales engineer, high density and liquid cooling specialist; George Munai, distributor manager, East Africa; and Jon Abbott, technology director, colocation and hyperscale for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
