Chrome, one of Kenya’s most celebrated homegrown spirits, has today rewarded its first set of winners under the ‘Chromoka’ campaign, a nationwide consumer promotion aimed at celebrating 10 years in the industry and rewarding loyal Chrome consumers.
The handover ceremony took place at the East African Breweries (EABL) headquarters in Nairobi, marking an exciting milestone in the campaign’s rollout.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of the grand prize of KES 1 million each to two lucky winners, Edwin Miano and Dancan Shumila, both from Nairobi County.
Other winners included Alice Washeke, who walked away with a Lenovo laptop, Alex Otieno, who received a content creator kit, and several others who were rewarded with branded Chrome sneakers.
The handover ceremony was led by Zipporah Ndung’u, senior brand manager – Chrome, who congratulated the winners and reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to rewarding and inspiring its vibrant community of consumers.

Launched earlier this month, ‘Chromoka’ invites consumers to purchase Chrome, scratch the label, send the unique alphanumeric code to 22110 and stand a chance to win a share of millions in cash and other exciting prizes.
The campaign has seen enthusiastic participation across the country, rewarding everyday consumers who enjoy Chrome responsibly.
The campaign has so far realized 24,000 out of 111,000 more winners will be announced in the coming weeks across the country as Chrome maintains its mission to celebrate authenticity, ambition, and reward the true hustlers who keep the spirit of Kenya alive.
