Ongeza Volume, a creative platform dedicated to amplifying Kenyan music and culture, is set to host its flagship event, The Setlist KE, on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at The Beer District in Nairobi.

The Setlist KE is a unique live and interactive session that brings together the Ongeza Volume community, music lovers, artists, and industry professionals to reflect on and celebrate what shaped Kenya’s music and events landscape throughout 2025.

This immersive four-hour session, running from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (EAT), is led by OV Founder Abigael Diana. The core of the event involves breaking down the biggest songs, standout performances, collaborations, and cultural moments of the year.

This year’s event promises more than just music, it’s an experience. Attendees will dive into lively open discussions, sharing their insights on the trends shaping Kenyan music in 2025.

They’ll also have the chance to cast their votes in live sessions, deciding the audience’s top picks. And for those who love a challenge, a fun trivia segment will put their Kenyan music knowledge to the test, with exciting prizes up for grabs. It’s an interactive celebration where everyone gets to be part of the story.

Live podcast recording and vibrant celebration

Adding a professional layer to the engagement, the entire session will be recorded live as a visual podcast, part of the official Ongeza Volume podcast series, aiming to capture dynamic conversations and insights from those shaping the industry.

The event will conclude with a celebration featuring a curated DJ set accompanied by a live saxophonist and bass guitarist. This segment is inspired by 2025’s defining tracks, creating a lively space for connection and reflection.

Whether you’re an artist, a devoted fan, or an industry insider, The Setlist KE offers a front-row seat to the story of 2025 in Kenyan music.
